Personal page of Roger Caballero-Folch

Born in El Vendrell near Barcelona (Spain). In 2008 I obtained a Bachelor Engineering degree in Telecommunication at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). After some temporary fellowship contracts at the Institute of Energy Technologies (INTE-UPC) I was enrolled for a MSc in Energy Engineering. In 2010 I started a PhD in the Nuclear Engineering and Ionizing Radiation program at UPC where my work was focused in data analysis of complex experiments involving exotic nuclei and large data sets. I participated in several experimental campaigns supported by international collaborations. After a successful PhD thesis, in June 2015 I join the beta-delayed neutron studies group at TRIUMF, Vancouver BC, Canada as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently since 2019 I work as Research Associate in the ARIEL Target and Ion Source Development group.

Here you can find my activities related to science in the last years. That’s a way to make public an information required so many times and to sort my work involved in the field of nuclear engineering and astrophysics.
